His policies are. But he'll never be Prime Minister.

Think this may have been posted before, but it's popped up on Facebook today so I thought I'd share again, just in case!

Paul Golding, of far right hate group Britain First, decided to have a go at former England football captain, Gary Lineker.

It backfired on him slightly...

Didn't want to start a new thread for this and, though it's tenuous, the French presidential election does pretty strongly relate to the UK's relationship with the EU.

Besides, it's damn funny.

Show this to anyone who thinks Theresa May's offering 'strong and stable leadership' on Brexit

Why would the eu have to thwart those plans when the British people did it for them?

She's no clue what she's talking about. Her comments are asinine electioneering. She's utterly in denial about the realities of Brexit, as indeed much of the country is.

This Twitter thread deals.

Breaking news: if you're a nurse earning £21k, a junior doctor earning £22k, a teacher earning £22k, a police officer earning £19k, a soldier earning £16k, a carer earning £16k, a fire fighter earning £22k, a post-doc lecturer or researcher earning £30k, a vet earning £30k, a prison officer earning £21k or a paramedic earning £22k, you don't give a damn about work.

A friend (who works in a UK NGO that aims to improve how educational outcomes are measured):

"So under new Tory plans to hire a foreign national in the UK a business will need to:

a) Satisfy an extensive labour market test that no other person in the UK (and presently EEA) has the required skillset;

b) Spend time registering paperwork to this effect with the home office;

c) pay thousands in a once off permit to hire them;

d) fly them home (or have them pay to do so) and wait 3-4 weeks in order to change visa class;

e) have them pay a yet to be announced NHS access fee (recently introduced at £200 per year); and

f) pay £2000 to the government for every year they are in your employ.

Good luck to all any Australians who want to stay on with an employer after their two-year youth mobility visa expires. You'll need it!"

Well it's not like she would know about earning that amount of money. She went on a reality TV show then became a rent-a-gob. Most of those I know who earn that kind of money are happy to pay more to fund public services, on account of the fact they aren't twats.

In my limited experience a larger proportion of people on the lower end of the income scale who vote UKIP / Bluekip and are actually net beneficiaries of the state have a big problem with such things rather than those in my tax bracket.

Obviously I don't know the super rich and their thoughts. They are unlikely to be paying tax anyway so...

It's part of their masterplan to improve productivity in the UK.

Step one: Cut funding per pupil in education to produce a dumber workforce.
Step two: Don't properly fund the health service to produce a sicker workforce.
Step three: Impose a migrant cap and make it much harder for companies to employ from outside the UK to compensate for the sicker and dumber workforce.
Step four: Plead poverty, shred public services, deregulate and privatise, turn the UK into an off-shore tax haven where the poorly educated, unwell proles are happy to drink in the BS and vote against themselves to keep the evil foreigners out.
