They don't? The Times link should've rung a bell!

I was just sort of showing it's "a thing", a genuine usage. I'm a non-native English speaker and thus overtly defensive some of the time.

Poe was mostly po' but didn't likely pour his drink as much as was thought. He did love his cat, maybe admired her paw in awe.

Four days till the vote, btw.

Cameron is a moron for opening up something so complex to the general (woefully uninformed) populace and the two campaigns are culpable for fighting with misleading and incomplete information.

I'm going to be dealing with a lot of scared kids today.

This is the only time I've felt empathy for him.

It's hard not to see this event connected to the broad upswing of fascism in Europe at the moment. Ugly campaign, ugly discourse, unpleasant result.

Having spent the entire campaign appealing to people's fear with pictures of 'swarms' of people from other countries, it's unsurprising that the Leave campaign decided to double-down at the eleventh hour and appealed to people's fear with a picture of 'swarms' of people from the UK...

If this isn't a clear warning to the US about politicians preying on people's fears, I don't know what is.

I can't see any outcome where this is good for the UK economy, but at least they'll be able to keep the brown people out.

There's already talk of another referendum on independence for Scotland.

What a clusterfuck.

What we are seeing is the beginning of the fragmentation of the EU. Britain will just be the first to withdraw. The draconian requirements imposed for economic support will drive several out now that they have their bailouts.

I did not say it was a good thing. I just noted one of the economic aspects of the vote.

The comment came this morning from Ted Turner's liberal commentators at CNN.

Your viewpoints are garbage on pretty much everything, so you don't need to worry about me breaking character, homeboy. Besides, pretty much every other person on this forum easily smokes you in every debate we have on any topic, and you still hammer out idiotic posts on the regular, so why should I bother engaging you with anything besides ridicule? You literally ignore every bit of substantive argument sent in your direction.

By something like a factor of 50:1, economics experts have predicted the move will negatively affect the cost of living, GDP and economic prospects of Britain.
