Shocking!

Anyway, whatever the referendum voters say, I don't think parliament will really vote for the UK to leave the EU. And altough this is probably the wiser decision, it will eventually lead to a significant rise in UKIP and Farage's popularity.

So it turns out #Texit is a thing on Twitter for secessionists.

To be fair, the petition is daft.

Cameron is a moron for opening up something so complex to the general (woefully uninformed) populace and the two campaigns are culpable for fighting with misleading and incomplete information.

I'm going to be dealing with a lot of scared kids today.
Sorry you have to deal with the scared kids!

I find it kind of amusing that so many people are asking for a mulligan on this!

It's like they really didn't know what they were voting for, isn't it??

Sorry.... I don't mean to laugh at your pain!

The people asking for a mulligan are primarily from regions that voted "remain".

Now that I think about it, the Brexit may fix the issue France has with the thousands of refugees stuck in Calais, wishing to reach UK. They may not want to anymore.

It's not likely to happen, but I wonder what Trump will do if any of those refugees leaving Britain end up on the US shores?

Some of them might be Muslim, ya know..........

GRexit for me actually ...once great always great or perhaps EUexit since you can only leave what you are in...

or perhaps UKexit as was pointed out by a poncy immigration officer in kathmandu pointed out to me
why he said if you are the UK
does your passport have this on it

our gibraltar citizens have a similar passport but with 'gibraltar' appended

we also have an area of cyprus which is a sovereign base area..laughingly called happy valley
Ha, hadn't even thought about the "what about all those millions of passports?" angle.

Someone should start with asking Farage to return his, followed by Boris.

thanks...national pride and patriotism i think should be the bedrock on which a citizen stands...if its not his country he then should show some affiliation for the country of his nurture and 'fit in'

the scots have an auld connection with france and so with europe i suspect...

most of us here got 'hooked' on our voting direction by ambiguity and wooly thinking...that is democracy where the vast groundswell of population are allowed to 'think clearly'

we voted leave...as we are full of old memories of after the war, rationing and outside toilets...we should be able to survive then

the second verse of god save the queen

O Lord our God arise
Scatter her enemies
And make them fall
Confound their politics
Frustrate their knavish tricks
On Thee our hopes we fix
God save us all
