I was on the fence about the headstock.

Then I played a few.
Yeah, Skjolds are awesome. I've forgotten all about that headstock. Plus, Pete has new body designs now and other new stuff coming soon.

If we fly, then I'm not sure how I'd get it to Chicago. If we drive, then yes.

The rig hasn't changed for a long time.

But for basses, I'm down to this:

carry it on the plane. stand it up in the coat closet.

seriously. it works. at hammerbash 1, clatteramy had a waterstone bass to give as a raffle prize. i won. so here i am in knoxville, tn, with a bass to figure out how to get home.

i walked on to the plane with it and politely asked a flight attendant to help me store it somewhere. there was a coat closet, and it went in fine.

For small gigs and rehearsals

For bigger gigs

The last piece of this puzzle for me is adding a Musicman Bongo Dargie Delight 5HH.

All of these things in various combinations as needed depending on the band I'm playing with and the size of the venue...

Still haven't gotten the chance to take pics of my "new" gig rig.

Soon to add another NeoX-112T

Rig complete at last, gig on Saturday, loving it so far. FET channel set for fingerstyle funk tone and tube channel set for vintage tubiness....
