any of you guys done any pressure cooking? I tried a shoulder the other day and had it completely done in just over an hour. was actually even a little overcooked. normally something we do in the crock pot for like 8 hours.
Yeah. Ribs in 20 minutes. Risotto in 7 minutes. My wife loves it, I'm glad she bought it (one of those fancy insta pot things)

we did a bbq shepherds pie the other day

used shredded bbq chicken and corn in place of ground beef, used my new potato ricer for the first time and made super fluffy butter/sour cream/green onion potatoes, sprinkled some smoked paprika on top

Homemade stew last night.

Leftover homemade stew tonight.

Crock pots are almost as good as smokers IMO. Love my crock pot.

Slaw yes. With some fennel, because I keep thinking I want to try that.

It was a bag of cheese tortellini from the refrigerator cooked in a couple cans of tomato soup. It said to boil in water for 5 minutes, so I cooked it in sub-boiling soup for 15 minutes. Surprisingly decent.

Fennel bulb is great in a slaw but Imo you've got to slice it thin.

I did make a slaw and it all worked great together. Gotta love Jamaican Street food

I feel like that true for most ingredients in any slaw. If you cut it thick you really gotta let it sit for awhile and let the juices do their work

If I ever know we'll be eatinga slaw with dinner I try to make it in the morning

Rack o' ribs, just removed from the pellet smoker/grill. Cooked three hours at 180 with plenty of smoke, then bumped it up to 225 for another 1.5 hours. Twist a bone and it comes clean. Near perfection.
