Thanks Matt. Does the G 30 used different technology then the G 10? The bass does not have that sound when it's on a cable it's only how it works with the two wireless systems I've tried. I could return the G 10 and get the G 30 as they are similar in price. What do you think?
I have the G30 personally, and have no problems with it. I'm not sure what is different in the units, other than the rechargeable battery and channel select. The only thing I would recommend is picking up some Eneloop AA rechargeables, as they last 6-8 hours per charge and are the highest rated for reuse.
There is the potential that you're getting interference from something as well, and since the G10 only has the one channel, you're hosed.

Cool thanks for the update I will check it out. The other unit had four channels and the same problem was on all four channels. I think the G 30 might have a completely different technology. Thanks again

The Lakland 44-51 came in today, and I picked up a used Epifani T212.

And then I thought I'd take a quick family pic, since it's been a while:

Hahaha, yeah, I know. But like I said, that rig deserves more than my basement. I had an 8x10 fridge and a Magnavox-era SVT rig way back in the day (see the pic below - like WAY the fuck back in the day ), and my back thanks me for getting into lighter amps and cabs.

That SVT head, locked up in its anvil case, weighed at least 120 lbs.

Every time I think I should sell my Stingray, I need to just plug it in and play it in a band situation.

It would be an interesting "one in each hand" situation. Which two items do I savagely burglarize, and which dont get rescued?
the choices are obvious...

1) green
2) orange lakland

Fuck yeah, dude. Really digging the tone and feel at 0:31 and 1:18.

So, totally passive now, eh? Those Duncans have some serious bite and growl.

En route from Chicago Music Exchange (the only place I found whose 4th of July sale included the Plex)
Fucking. A.

Finally got to hook this up tonight, and it's fucking tits. Bass into this into the FX return on my Genz head is pretty much a dead ringer for my 800RB, but with all the volume on tap that I could probably ever need.

I didn't dig into most of the bells and whistles of it, just adjusted volume and EQ, and brought in just a wee bit of fuzz and it's pretty much perfect.

That's badass, man!

So you're just bypassing the preamp of the Genz head entirely, and using the GK as the pre? I bet it sounds f'n awesome.

Completely. The only knob on the Genz that does anything is the master volume.

And another Lakland!

I had a Glaub for a bit and loved it. I actually like the Jazz neck profile on yours even better TBH. Nice basses.

I've really been digging the 44-51 that came in last week, and found this guy on Reverb for a few hundred less than the new price, and it comes with Duncan Quarter Pounders. Couldn't pass it up, though it helped that I had just sold my Tribby L-2500 shortly beforehand.

My SB-2 was red broham, no complaints from me.

If I were to pick a single P to own, it would be a Glaub.
