Question What went/is going right today?

I started vacation, and I'm enjoying ebassist at home.

Go!

P.S. The point of the thread is to re-adjust your attitude by noticing all the small bits of awesome!

i rode my bicycle to work today, and it was easier (on the same route at higher average speed) than it used to be.

the shop working on my VW called, and the overall bill isn't going to be terrible.

i have band practice tonight.

and i'm damned sexy.

When I was a kid and I'd get in trouble or something would go wrong, I would always complain that, "at least I'm alive!"

So yeah, at least I'm alive.

I'm feeling pretty good health-wise. I'm at work and feel fortunate to have this job. It's beautiful outside right now, so I'll enjoy the ride home listening to NPR.

Yeah the weather is great, I'm going to run some errands on the bike. Also so far I have no trips for the holiday weekend, so we're planning to go up to Great Lakes Dragway to watch my buddy run his jet funnycar. That is going to be freakin' awesome!

So also going right today- I got some fun comments while out on my bike just now. I was parked next to a car and a woman got out seemed really taken with the FJR. No one around here has ever seen or heard of one before, and it really make a good impression. She said she thought it looked really cool, and futuristic or hi tech. I thanked her, and then she said her son rides a Harley, and that she was going to tell him all about this one, and asked what it was.

One thing I love my bike, and my car too, is how they just simply bring smiles to people when they see them. Here in cheeseland there aren't many, and I don't think there are any FJR's. Biker's here dont even know what it is, and everyone seems to think it looks like something out of a science fiction movie. It's fun to watch someone see it for the first time and really enjoy the experience. I can only imagine what her Harley riding son is going to think when his mom tells him how cool a Yamaha was!

I sat in on the interview panel to hire two new teachers at school. We're looking for high school Agricultural Science/Integrated Science and Advanced Maths.

We have two strong candidates for both positions.

Mrs. T and I went for a walk after supper. She's recovering nicely.

I've been accepted into the Graduate School of Education at Western Oregon University in the Master of Science in Teaching program. I'll pick up an ESL license in the process.

Life is good.
